Job summary

Private Advertiser invites applications for an experienced accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and reconciliations, in Hong Kong. You will prepare monthly billings, management reports, and assist with budgeting and cash flow.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and good command of English. Proficiency in Excel and MYOB is preferred; immediate availability is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or diploma with professional qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical mind and detail orientation.
• Independent, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; MYOB experience preferred.
• Good written and spoken English; immediate availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle full set of accounts: GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly rental billings and related reports.
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including payments, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Month-end and year-end closing with accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors and tax representatives.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with standards.
• Perform general office administrative duties and handle ad hoc assignments.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently handle the full set of accounts covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed asset, bank reconciliations and etc.
• Prepare monthly rental billings and related reports
• Perform all accounting activities including accounting day-to-day operations, payment, budgeting and cash flow management
• Hands on experience in full set of accounts for month-end and year-end closing in timely manner with accuracy and completeness accounting matters;
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis.
• Handle year-end audit and coordinatewith external auditors and tax representatives, providing timely supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform general office administrative duties
• Handle other ad hoc assignments

Job Requirements

• Holder of a Higher Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent ; with a recognized professional qualification will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical mind, detail-oriented, self-motivated, work independently, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiar with MYOB system is preferable but not essential.
• Team player and good communicator.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
