Overview

We are seeking an experienced Academic and Admissions Advisor to support students applying to competitive international schools and universities. This role combines application essay mentoring with interview and admissions test preparation and can be delivered online or in person at a learning centre. The successful candidate will work closely with students and families to help them present authentic, confident, and well-positioned applications while developing strong interview and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students through the full essay development process, including brainstorming, structuring, drafting, and revision.
• Support personal statements, application essays, supplemental questions, and scholarship submissions.
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback while preserving the student’s voice and originality.
• Prepare students for admissions interviews, including student and parent interviews.
• Coach students for admissions assessments such as English, Maths, reasoning, aptitude tests, and written tasks.
• Conduct mock interviews and test simulations.
• Deliver clear feedback and targeted improvement plans.
• Advise families on admissions expectations, timelines, and preparation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal consultants to ensure consistency across the application process.
