Job summary

A leading biotechnology company in Reading is seeking a motivated Research Scientist to plan, design, and execute experimental investigations. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent experience in molecular biology or related fields and be proficient in molecular techniques such as NextGen sequencing and qPCR. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings. Qualifications

  • 0-2 years related experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience handling human viruses in a CL3 facility is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HIV/HBV/EBV is preferred.

  • Conduct experiments using various molecular techniques.
  • Analyze data and make scientific recommendations.
  • Present results at internal meetings.
