Job summary
A leading NHS trust in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Clinical Scientist to join their Radioisotope Physics team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and specialist training, support advanced imaging technology, and participate in innovative research projects. They will undertake the Medical Physics Expert role and support critical clinical services involving radionuclide therapies. Qualifications
- Must be a registered Clinical Scientist, ideally registered as MPE.
- Desirable skills and experience toward registration/certification are considered.
- Provide clinical, scientific and technical expert advice.
Responsibilities
- Undertake the IRMER duty holder role of a Medical Physics Expert in Radioisotope Physics.
- Provide expert advice and training in support of clinical services.
- Ensure correct operation of nuclear medicine imaging and calibration equipment.
