We’re working with a high-achieving 11–18 secondary school looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Teacher. You’ll be teaching across the full age range from introductory forces in Year 7 to A-Level particle physics and helping students build the skills and confidence to think like scientists.
As a Physics Teacher, you’ll:
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS3–KS5
Support students in developing practical and theoretical understanding
Prepare learners for GCSE and A-Level exams with clear, focused guidance
Use real-world applications to bring the subject to life
Contribute to department planning, enrichment activities, and science events
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Physics or a closely related field
Has experience teaching Physics across secondary key stages (KS5 experience ideal)
Builds strong classroom relationships and explains complex ideas clearly
Inspires curiosity and critical thinking through creative, evidence-based teaching
Is committed to high standards and supporting students of all abilities
A well-equipped science department with experienced colleagues
Weekly PAYE pay—no umbrella company fees
