A health care trust in the UK is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. The role involves providing treatment and support for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. Candidates should be forward-thinking, passionate, and possess relevant qualifications and skills. A UK driving license and ability to travel independently are essential. The role may be offered on a part-time basis, accommodating flexible working arrangements.
We are looking for a motivated Band 6 Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our small team, We are looking for an experienced, forward thinking, passionate individual , to provide excellent patient care, evidence based practice and support development of services .
Our service provides assessment, advice, therapy and education for those with acquired communication and swallowing disorders. We offer appointments by home visit, telephone, and video as well as outpatient clinics. Our caseload includes neurological degenerative conditions, stroke services, care homes and two community hospitals.
We cover Scarborough, Filey, Ryedale, Pocklington and Whitby and work alongside other community therapy and nursing services. The work base location and split of geographical caseload will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
The preferred option for base is Scarborough Prospect Road YO12 7LB, however we are able to discuss options for the appointable candidate.
Please note a UK driving licence and being able to travel independently between sites is essential for this role.
