- Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations.
- Support bid strategy discussions with commercial input.
Skills
We're representing a well-established Essex-based main contractor delivering a broad range of new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across the commercial, residential, and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
- Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
- Support bid strategy discussions and provide accurate commercial input
- 4-5 years' experience in estimating within a main contractor
- Looking to step up from Assistant Estimator to a standalone Estimator position
- Strong attention to detail with sound commercial awareness
- Proficient in Bluebeam or similar take-off / estimating software
- Confident communicator with a proactive, team-first mindset
- Salary up to £65,000 (inclusive package)
