Job Description:
Our client, a leading Medical Device manufacturer, is looking to appoint an experienced and creative Software Developer with ERP System Development experience. In this position, you will work as part of the IT Department to oversee, maintain, and improve the technological infrastructure and resources within the organization to ensure alignment with the company's goals. This includes developing bespoke software to track and manage operations, validating software solutions, and ensuring integration with the client's NetSuite ERP System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in using APIs to communicate between software platforms, including Microsoft 365, to create bespoke business reports, dashboards, and other customizations.
- Support NetSuite SuiteScript: adapt the system to configure reports and scripts (using SuiteScript), customize, and integrate with other systems to support departments and optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, conduct training, and ensure high employee satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate software development and validation documentation following quality management procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, evaluate their potential to improve operations, and recommend new solutions.
- Provide website/development support to colleagues as needed.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Education: ITIL Foundation or above.
- Degree or HND in any subject or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience in software validation within a regulated environment.
- Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements in a medical device business.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Self-aware, approachable, ambitious.
- Willingness to contribute actively and 'get hands dirty' when necessary.
