Ruby Developer - Remote - UK based - Up to £85 K - SaaS

Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal stage of growth and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They are looking for experienced developers who are excited about building innovative solutions. Facing unique business and scaling challenges, they need talented problem solvers to address technical hurdles.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in secure, scalable, and maintainable ways.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

They are pragmatic in choosing the best tools for the task and expect candidates to take a lead role in developing core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience in operating large systems (following SRE principles)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing large, complex applications using a test-driven approach
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools would be advantageous

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and abroad. While occasional meetings and social events are held, your day-to-day work will be from home.
