Accounting Manager
Hybrid – Birmingham, AL

As an Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee financial processes across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting that supports leadership decisions. Compensation

$80,000–$85,000+ depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead accounting processes for multiple facilities, ensuring accurate and timely financials

Oversee billing, invoicing, and collections in line with GAAP and contractual terms

Manage month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Prepare financial statements and documentation for audits

Provide oversight of travel expenses and general ledger coding

Partner with leadership to identify efficiencies and support business growth

What You’ll Need to be Considered
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reports, Journal Entries and the “why” behind them
  • ERP system experience (Dynamics preferred, others considered)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to take ownership and get the job done
  • Background in public accounting is a plus
