A major UK recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a significant infrastructure programme in Birmingham on a contract basis. We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a major UK infrastructure programme on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence financial performance and ensure robust cost control in a complex, high-profile environment.
- Provide financial assurance and challenge to drive accountability and value for money.
- Deliver accurate reporting, analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and audit standards.
- Support business planning, forecasting, and budget management within funding caps.
- Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to optimise cash flow and resource allocation.
- Qualified accountant with experience in complex environments (infrastructure or large-scale projects preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to communicate complex financial issues clearly.
- Expertise in ERP systems, data analytics, and advanced Excel modelling.
- Knowledge of government accounting requirements and Managing Public Money principles.
