Contract: Day Rate (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)

Start Date: New Year
Rate:£480-525pd

We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a major UK infrastructure programme on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence financial performance and ensure robust cost control in a complex, high-profile environment.

What you'll do:
  • Provide financial assurance and challenge to drive accountability and value for money.
  • Deliver accurate reporting, analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and audit standards.
  • Support business planning, forecasting, and budget management within funding caps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to optimise cash flow and resource allocation.
What we're looking for:
  • Qualified accountant with experience in complex environments (infrastructure or large-scale projects preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to communicate complex financial issues clearly.
  • Expertise in ERP systems, data analytics, and advanced Excel modelling.
  • Knowledge of government accounting requirements and Managing Public Money principles.
