A logistics company is looking for warehouse staff in Birmingham, offering flexible working options with both full-time and part-time roles. Responsibilities include handling deliveries, checking goods, maintaining stock records, and ensuring a tidy workspace. Ideal candidates should be reliable team players aware of safety regulations. Starting pay is £19.50 hourly plus benefits including a pension scheme and paid transport.

Responsabilités
- Taking delivery of goods and signing delivery notes.
- Checking goods for missing or damaged items.
- Unloading goods by hand or with trolleys/forklifts.
- Stacking goods in the correct location.
- Keeping records of goods.
- Carrying out stock control regularly.
- Selling items to customers when needed.
- Picking, weighing, or packing goods.
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Connaissances

Location: Birmingham
Days and Nights are available.
Full and Part time work is available.
PAYE or Self Employed roles.
Paid on a weekly basis.
Weekends are available.
Starting with £19.50 hour on days and £22.50 hour on nights. Overtime and bank holidays are paid at £25.50 hour.
The Work
You could be:
- taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
- checking goods for missing or damaged items
- unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
- stacking goods in the correct place
- keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
- carrying out stock control on a regular basis
- sometimes selling items to customers
- picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
- keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
PENSION SCHEME, MEDICAL AND DENTAL COVER, FREE FAMILY COVER, 50% PAID TRANSPORT BY THE COMPANY.
You need to be:
- able to work alone but also as part of a team
- reliable
- honest
- able to work quickly and efficiently
- aware of health and safety regulations.
You need to have:
- good organisation skills
- a methodical and tidy approach
- the ability to complete paper work
