Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Wareham, Dorset
Salary: Up to 60,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our team based in Wareham, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to work with a reputable company, offering a competitive salary of up to 60,000 per year depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct MOT preparations and safety inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Work as part of a team to ensure workshop targets are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or significant relevant experience).
• A valid UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours including potential shift patterns or overtime.
