Job summary
A staffing agency in the UK is seeking an HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Located in Lancashire, this permanent position offers a salary between £30,000 and £35,000, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate and have experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.

Job Title: HSE Officer
Location: Lancashire (WN6)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am-5pm
Contract: Permanent
- Ensure all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental are adhered to.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans.
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required.
- Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc).
- Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Effective organisational, time management and administration skills
- Problem solving and internal audit skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Work under own initiative and be a good team player.
- Risk assessment experience
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Confidence to deal with people at all levels
