This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior B2B Copywriter, you will join our global Copy Team made up of almost 60 people around the world. You’ll write and shape CRM content for key accounts in the UK. You will work closely with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing copy that showcases our clients’ voice and furthers their brand story.

This role requires a genuine passion for editing and giving critical feedback. You will be expected to uphold our clients' creative standards, while continuing to push new ideas and embody DEPT’s entrepreneurial spirit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create clear, effective and original copy and content for our clients’ CRM marketing.
  2. Write content for various channels with a heavy focus on the B2B audience.
  3. Provide clear, effective feedback.
  4. Give directional brand and tone of voice guidance.
  5. Establish, strengthen, and uphold copy standards.
  6. Establish processes and policies to maximise efficiency.
  7. Deliver creative ideas confidently both internally and externally.
  8. Offer strategic messaging insights on creative campaigns.
  9. Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration.
  10. Facilitate creative brainstorms and other necessary meetings.
  11. Exhibit leadership and professionalism across all interactions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Experience as a B2B copywriter is a must, and a background in agency or brand is preferred.
  2. Experience editing content and giving feedback is necessary.
  3. Experience in the e-commerce/transportation technology a plus.
  4. Experience delivering and receiving feedback in English is necessary.
  5. Translation and/or transcreation experience a plus.
  6. In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development a big plus.
  7. Understanding of social media content best practices and trends preferred.
  8. Ability to deliver compelling marketing and content copy that sells is essential.
  9. Confidence working with other departments and stakeholders such as designers, developers, and clients is essential.
  10. Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets.
  11. An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey.
  12. Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
  13. A collaborative approach to getting things done.
