A healthcare recruitment agency is looking for a qualified Nurse to work as a Disability Assessor in Grimsby. This role offers a hybrid work model and includes assessing individuals applying for Work Capability benefits. Applicants must have NMC registration and at least 1 year of post-registration experience. The position also provides a robust training program, ensuring you are well-equipped for the role while maintaining your clinical registration.
Permanent - full time or part time available (Mon-Fri). A mixture of remote and assessment centre working, offering an exceptional work-life balance.

As a Disability Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of claimants who are applying for Work Capability (WCA), as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). The funding helps support individuals financially who are unable to work, or to live as much of an independent life as possible. You will be completing assessments with individuals who have an extremely broad range of health conditions, and you may have the opportunity to conduct some assessments remotely.
An in-depth training programme is provided which is fully paid for, so you will feel fully equipped for your new role - plus this role counts towards your clinical hours, so you will maintain and uphold your registration!
