Who is your team?

You will be part of Data Office, an international cross-functional team comprising:

• Data Modernization;
• Data Foundation.

As part of the Data Foundation team, we drive data innovations from the core, ensuring data is secure, scalable, and intelligent.

The team is building the foundation of Kramp's self-service analytics platform in a Google Cloud Platform-based data warehouse (DWH), feeding different targets such as:

• Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau);
• Kramp's Machine Learning platform.

What to expect:

The Data Office is an international, cross-functional team combining Business Intelligence, DevOps, FinOps, Data Science, and Software Development;

Working within Agile SCRUM methodologies and the Atlassian toolchain (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Git);

Using Python, Java, BigQuery SQL, and Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Build, Data Transfers, Workflows, Schedulers, and Functions to build our state-of-the-art cloud data warehouse;

Utilizing dbt Cloud, Terraform, and Data Modeling tools;

Providing deep insights into the work at an international wholesaler in the middle of digital transformation, allowing you to contribute and make a real impact;

Encouraging freedom to initiate and develop new ideas.

Who are you?

What will help you succeed in this role?

• Openness to continuous learning and agility in addressing business challenges;
• Experience designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining software in Python and/or Java, as well as data flows in SQL;
• Knowledge of different Data Modeling principles and selecting the appropriate one based on consumer needs;
• Comfort working with Linux, Git, and Docker to extend and maintain CI/CD workflows, or eagerness to learn about this;
• Experience in cloud environments (preferably GCP or AWS);
• Knowledge or experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, and data transformation tools like dbt and Dataform;
• Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and adaptability to build connections with diverse backgrounds;
• Strong conceptual thinking and proactive decision-making, with ownership to ensure project success.
• Experience with Striim is an advantage.
