Job summary
A well-established consulting firm based in York is seeking an ambitious ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant to join their Accounts team. This full-time position involves managing client portfolios, ensuring compliance, and personal tax planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in an accountancy practice and strong communication and organizational skills. The role offers a salary of £45,000-£48,000, a range of benefits including flexi-time and a company pension, plus opportunities for professional development.

- Must have ACA or ACCA qualification.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients comprising incorporated businesses.
- Ensure compliance for clients – annual accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Conduct personal tax planning for individuals.
- Coordinate client billing and services.
- Review work performed by team members and assist with training.
- Act as the main relationship contact for clients.
- Promote the Accounts team internally and externally.
- Organize workflow within the department.
