• Reactive and Planned Maintenance: Undertake a range of building repairs, from routine reactive work (e.g., emergency lockouts) to major renewals and planned refurbishment projects in both occupied and empty properties.
• Locksmithing: Supply, fit, service, and repair various types of locks and security devices for doors and windows. This includes front and back door locks, door entry systems, and internal door ironmongery (handles, hinges, and locks).
• Carpentry: Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including installing, repairing, and replacing wooden structures such as door frames, doors (including fire doors), skirting boards, and potentially structural carpentry elements.
• Diagnostics: Diagnose the causes of building faults and defects to identify the most cost-effective and appropriate solutions, with the aim of reducing repeat visits.
• Multi-Trade (General Maintenance): While the main trade is carpentry and locksmithing, the role often requires competence in other trade disciplines (e.g., minor plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, or painting) to complete jobs "right first time".
• Health & Safety: Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and standards, maintaining safe methods of working at all times.
