A leading business development company in the UK is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the Automotive and Vehicle Battery Manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong lead generation skills, factory automation experience, and the ability to negotiate complex contracts. This role offers a salary between £55,000 and £65,000, along with a company vehicle, hybrid working, and an excellent pension plan.
The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the Automotive, Transport, Tier‑1 Supplier, and Vehicle Battery Manufacturing sectors. Working closely with sales, segment leaders, and account managers, you’ll identify and convert high‑value opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
As a proactive business developer, you’ll build a strong sales and project pipeline through targeted engagement with OEMs, integrators, and key stakeholders—combining customer visits, market insight, and a structured approach to deliver tailored, high‑value solutions. This role blends commercial expertise with technical understanding of complex manufacturing and automation environments to maximise sustainable growth.
