My client is seeking a dynamic individual to lead and grow a high-performing Financial & Professional Lines portfolio, with a mandate that spans strategic leadership, technical excellence, and talent development. This is not just another leadership role — it’s an opportunity to shape the direction of a diverse and complex book of business with real autonomy, global collaboration, and a clear path to further progression.

What You’ll Be Driving:

• Strategic and financial leadership across multiple Professional & Financial Lines classes
• Development and execution of underwriting strategy with P&L accountability
• Frontline market engagement with key brokers and clients
• Talent leadership: mentoring a team of skilled underwriters and driving a culture of performance
• Innovation and underwriting excellence across products, pricing, and governance
• Collaboration with actuarial, claims, operations, and global underwriting leaders

What We're Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in multiple Professional & Financial Lines classes (D&O, PI, FI, Cyber, etc.) within the London market
• Deep technical underwriting knowledge and a strong broker network
• A commercial mindset with a passion for profitable growth and innovation
• Track record of managing large, complex portfolios and high-performing teams
• Strategic thinker with operational rigour and the drive to execute
