Abingdon and Witney College is seeking a Zumba Instructor to deliver engaging Zumba classes for adult learners in Oxfordshire. The role focuses on dance-fitness, motivating participants of all abilities within a supportive environment.

Salary: £28.62 - £37.08 per hour
Hours per week: up to 1 hour
Weeks per Annum: Various
Working pattern: 09:30 - 10:30 / 18:30 - 19:30 (exact pattern variable)
Location: Oxfordshire (Oxford, Kidlington, Didcot, Banbury)
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until September 2027

As a Zumba Instructor, you will plan and deliver high-quality sessions that celebrate the energy, rhythm, and expressive nature of Zumba, helping participants improve fitness, coordination, and confidence while enjoying the social aspects of group exercise.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completion of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
