Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Zscaler Administrator to maintain and evolve our ZIA/ZPA environment, ensuring secure access to applications, cloud services and internet resources across the UK.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, network and application teams in a remote-based role, applying automation and scripting to enhance reliability and security, with occasional travel to the Surrey-area office.

Qualifications

• Experience with ZIA and ZPA platform management.
• Knowledge of policies, authentication, segmentation and secure access controls.
• Strong troubleshooting across access, identity, networking and cloud connectivity.
• Good knowledge of Azure networking and infrastructure services.
• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and authentication services.
• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (routing, firewalls, proxies, VPNs).
• Experience in ITSM/change control environments.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimise ZIA and ZPA platforms.
• Manage policies, access controls and traffic forwarding.
• Support Zscaler Client Connector and cloud-based connectors.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, network and application teams to resolve issues.
• Support onboarding and segmentation in ZPA.
• Monitor platform performance and security events.
• Contribute to automation using PowerShell, Python, Terraform and APIs.
• Assist with incident response and remediation.
• Produce technical documentation and platform metrics.
