Job summary

Readypower Rail Services is seeking motivated and experienced RRV Operators to support our operations on-site in Nottingham. This is a zero-hours opportunity with a growing rail plant hire company serving the North regions.

You will operate OTP/Mobile Plant safely under supervision, communicate for safety, and represent Readypower professionally to enhance the customer experience. A valid PTS (AC and DCCR), OTP Core, and CPCS or equivalent are required, along with a good knowledge of the railway

Qualifications

• Valid PTS (AC and DCCR) in date.
• OTP Core competency valid and in date.
• OTP Operator attachments: Excavator/Crane competencies valid.
• CPCS or an equivalent nationally recognised competence.
• Good knowledge and experience of the railway.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• OTP Operator attachment competencies valid.
• TRU Induction or site inductions.
• Previous RRV Operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of OTP/ Mobile Plant per rules and standards.
• Operate plant you are competent for under supervision and correctly use plant.
• Carry out role professionally, using communication devices to enhance safety.
• Represent Readypower positively to improve customer experience.

Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated and experienced RRV Operators to support our operations department out on site. We have got a growing work bank in the North, North East and North West. This is a zero hours opportunity based in Nottingham.

The role:

• Ensure the safe operation of OTP/ Mobile Plant in line with current rules and standards
• Operate plant you have competence for and authorisation to use, under supervision and correctly use plant for its intended use
• Carry out your role professionally and politely, whilst utilising communication devices to enhance safety
• Represent Readypower in a positive light to help improve the customer experience.

Requirements:

• Valid and in date PTS (AC and DCCR)
• Valid and in date OTP Core competency
• Valid and in date OTP Machine Operator – Excavator and OTP Crane Operator – Excavator Crane competencies.
• CPCS or an equivalent Nationally recognised competence should be maintained
• Good knowledge and experience of the railway
• Passionate, hard working and driven
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Valid OTP Operator attachment competencies
• TRU Induction or any other site-specific inductions
• Previous RRV Operator experience

Contract Type:

• Banded pay scale, dependent on machine and attachment competencies
• Shift bonus available, equating to an additional £5,000 per year
