Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Porter - Zero Hours in Norwich on a permanent casual basis. The role involves maintaining a high standard of customer care and cleanliness across public areas, assisting with room setups, and handling select reception tasks.

You will work flexibly to cover relief shifts and support facilities teams. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, an excellent communicator, and reliable with strong timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Keep lobby and public areas clean and tidy.
• Help housekeeping, restaurant and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture.
• Handle reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations.
• Respond to customer requests as required.
• Run errands.
• Ensure customer safety by placing/removing wet floor or paint signage.
