Job summary

Lifelong Mobility in Farnham, UK, is seeking a video editor to own our production pipeline and turn founder-filmed footage into finished YouTube videos and member trainings.

You will ship two weeks of ready-to-publish content, shape hooks and pacing, and help grow the channel with an editor’s eye on retention. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a clear path to Senior Editor based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years editing experience, including long-form YouTube or educational content edited end to end.
• Portfolio with at least two long-form edits owned from raw footage to final export.
• Strong sense of pacing for talking-head, demonstration and educational content.
• You can name channels whose editing you study and explain what makes them work.
• Highly organised, reliable, hits deadlines and keeps projects tidy.

Responsibilities

• Edit YouTube long-form videos end to end, following style guides and templates.
• Study channel analytics and retention graphs and incorporate findings into edits.
• Edit member training videos for our members’ area end to end.
• Own shoot-to-publish system: ingest, logging, project organisation and backlog management.
• Maintain at least two weeks of ready-to-publish content in the queue.
• Create short-form edits for YouTube Shorts, Instagram and Facebook as needed.
• Work within AI-assisted editing workflows and help improve them.
