Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is seeking a Wellbeing Practitioner to support young people aged 16-19 (up to 25 with an EHCP) across Oldham, including home visits and community work. The role is based in the community with travel across the local area and offers a pro-rata salary of £30,514.77 for 3 days per week as a temporary maternity leave cover.

• Experience supporting young people and families in a therapeutic or wellbeing setting.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel across the local area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one and small group wellbeing support to young people.
• Use creative and therapeutic approaches to improve mental health and resilience.
• Assess needs and develop personalised support plans.
• Work with families, schools and external partners.
• Encourage engagement with education, employment or training services.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguarding best practice.
