Job summary

Youth Connect South West (YCSW) is seeking a Wellbeing Practitioner to support post-16 learners aged 16-19 (up to 25 with an EHCP) in Bath and North East Somerset. You will provide early intervention, emotional wellbeing support and practical guidance to help young people engage in learning and progression opportunities.

Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, you will deliver one-to-one and group support, collaborate with education staff, and help learners progress toward employment,

Qualifications

• Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience working with young people aged 16-19 (or up to 25 with an EHCP)
• Experience delivering one-to-one support
• Understanding of emotional wellbeing and engagement factors
• Safeguarding and multi-agency working experience
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
• Ability to travel independently across the region

Responsibilities

• Deliver both one-to-one and group wellbeing support to young people
• Work closely with education staff to coordinate support
• Help ensure young people receive the support they need to thrive
