Job summary

Brook Street UK is seeking a Youth Tutor in Cardiff to deliver learner-focused sessions and mentor young people toward qualifications and employment opportunities. The role centres on supporting learners through the JGW+ programme and coordinating engaging lessons.

You will plan, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback, helping learners build confidence and transition into further education or work. This full-time position is based at the Cardiff head office.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEET learners or similar groups.
• Background in tutoring, training or mentoring.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) required.
• GCSEs in Maths & English at grade C/5 or above.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative, learner-focused training sessions.
• Support young people through their individual learning journeys.
• Help learners achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further education.
• Plan lessons and provide meaningful feedback.
• Work within the Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) framework.

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-16:30

Salary: £24,638 - £26,780
