Job summary

Aspire People are working in partnership with a large Primary School in Wythenshawe, South Manchester. We are seeking a Youth Support Worker to join as a SEND Teaching Assistant for identified pupils across Key Stage 2.

The ideal candidate will deliver 1:1 interventions, supporting engagement with core subjects and handling SEMH and other complex needs. Experience in youth work or sports coaching, or a degree in Psychology, Criminology or Youth Studies is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth work, sports coaching, or a degree in Psychology, Criminology or Youth Studies.
• Confident supporting pupils with SEMH and other complex needs across KS2.
• Willingness to deliver 1:1 interventions and support engagement with core subjects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 interventions to support engagement with core subjects.
• Support identified KS2 pupils across SEMH and other complex needs.
• Work with school staff to implement interventions and contribute to safeguarding.
