Job summary

New Ark Recruitment in Cheltenham (GL51) is seeking a compassionate Young People Support Worker to empower 16+ young people to develop independence and life skills.

You will provide high-quality support, build trusting relationships, promote wellbeing, and work with a team to meet safeguarding and Ofsted standards. The role includes flexible shifts, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, with pay 13.50 per hour plus 50 per sleep-in.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people, care leavers, or vulnerable adults.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Right to work in the UK.
