An established industry player is seeking Youth Support Workers to assist young individuals with Autism and additional learning needs. This role involves providing support in community activities, personal care, and work placements, all aimed at fostering independence among students aged 16-25. The position offers a flexible and dynamic work environment across multiple sites, including a forest area and small farm. Ideal candidates will be engaging, resilient, and possess strong communication skills. Youth Support Workers required at a residential college in Yeovil who cater for young people between the ages of 16-25 with Autism, additional learning needs and complex associated behaviours.
This SEN setting supports students to gain valuable life skills, qualifications and confidence to support their journey towards independence.
The setting is spread across 3 sites with a forest area, small farm area and 40 acres of outdoor space.
This is a flexible/adhoc position.
