Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is looking for Youth Support Workers to assist in delivering Link Club sessions for young people with disabilities. This role offers part-time hours during term time, where successful applicants will foster positive relationships with young people and help manage engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Must complete training including induction and a Level 2 Youth Work qualification.
• Experience working with young people aged 13 to 25 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver activities for young people aged 13-25 with disabilities.
• Work as part of a team during sessions every Wednesday evening.

We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the deliver of Link Club sessions for young people aged 13 to 25 with disabilities on a Wednesday evening 6pm to 8.30pm. This is a term time only position

We Are Seeking People Who Can

• Build positive relationships with young people aged 13 to 25
• Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session to young people.
• Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification. (Please note this will include some Saturday training estimated 9 Saturdays sessions plus some evening training online and in person.
• Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues.
• Be a positive role model to young people.
