Job description

We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the delivery of Link Club sessions for young people aged 13 to 25 with disabilities. The sessions are held on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8.30pm during term time at Hawtonville Young People Centre, Newark, NG24 4HX. This is a part-time, permanent position with a weekly commitment of 2.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build positive relationships with young people aged 13 to 25.
  2. Work as part of a team to deliver and manage positive activities during sessions.
  3. Complete required training, including induction and Level 2 Youth Work qualification, which involves some Saturday sessions and evening online/in-person training.
  4. Respond to changes during sessions and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
  5. Act as a positive role model to young people.
Qualifications and Requirements

Additional Information
  • Salary: £12.85 - £13.02 per hour.
  • Work base: Hawtonville Young People Centre, Newark.
