Who are Linx 16 Plus?

Linx 16 Plus is supported accommodation for young people aged 16-18. We are newly registered with Ofsted and are passionate about providing supported accommodation to some of the most vulnerable young people in the UK.

What is the role?

As a Youth Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to support each young person and be an advocate to encourage their normal development through providing a consistent, caring adult role model. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting young people through independence challenges
• Being emotionally available to listen to their views and feelings
• Promoting and building positive, nurturing relationships
• Being IT literate, especially with Word and Outlook
• Having fun and enjoying time with young people
• Planning and engaging in shared activities within the home
• Creating an environment where young people can thrive

What does our rota look like?

Each shift runs from 8am to 11pm. Sleep-ins are from 11pm to 8am. The rota is a 3-week rolling schedule:

• Week 1: 30 hours (2 days working & 2 sleep-ins)
• Week 2: 30 hours (2 days working & 2 sleep-ins)
• Week 3: 45 hours (3 days working & 3 sleep-ins)
