Job summary

Turning Point in Chorley and Leyland is seeking a Service Manager with a clear progression to Ofsted Registered Manager. You will lead supported accommodation for young people, overseeing care and housing, and building strong partnerships with landlords and local authorities.

You will develop high-performing teams, ensure safeguarding, drive service quality and compliance, and support move-on planning. A structured 12-month path to Ofsted registration is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
• Experience in residential support for children or adults within last five years, for Ofsted eligibility.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practical experience.
• Track record of improving quality, compliance and service performance.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders including local authorities, landlords and commissioners.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality, person-centred services for young people.
• Oversee both care and housing elements of the service.
• Build and maintain partnerships with landlords, landlords, and local authorities.
• Drive safeguarding, compliance and continuous improvement across services.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to support move-on planning.
• Lead and inspire high-performing teams and promote co-production with young people.
