Job summary

Cambian Residential Care Workers support children aged 8-18 in our homes, helping with daily routines, meals, homework and activities to create a home-like, nurturing environment. You’ll be on hand for everyday moments that shape confidence and wellbeing.

We offer a thorough induction, DBS screening, and references. Growth opportunities exist within the network, with strong team support and a commitment to safeguarding and meaningful outcomes for young people.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check.
• Provide at least two references covering the past two years.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable groups is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Help young people with daily routines and activities to feel at home.
• Assist with homework, meals, and transitions to activities like park or school.
• Create a safe, supportive environment and monitor wellbeing and mood.
• Record and report on progress and any safeguarding concerns.
