CareTech is seeking a Residential Childcare Worker in Dumfries. The role involves supporting young people with daily routines, school readiness, meals, and activities in a warm home environment.

Shift pattern includes sleep-ins; base salary plus sleep-in allowances. A full UK manual driving license is required; sponsorship not offered. Training and development opportunities are provided.

• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support
• Plan and join activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care
