Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a Children’s Residential Care Worker to join The Beeches in Northampton. You will support young people with daily living, build positive relationships, and help implement care plans in a safe, nurturing home.

The role covers 40 hours per week including sleep-ins and weekends, with a view to developing essential life skills and confidence in the young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people preferred.
• Passion for supporting and caring for young people.
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care or willingness to work towards.
• Positive, resilient and team-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, safe and supportive environment for young people.
• Build positive relationships and support daily routines.
• Assist with care plans and record keeping.
• Promote independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Support transitions and participate in shift patterns.
