Qualifications

• Experience in youth justice, social care, education, or related fields.
• Experience in supporting crime victims and delivering victim-focused interventions.
• Experience applying restorative justice practices.
• Experience working with families and young people with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for victims of youth crime, keeping them informed and supported.
• Advocate for a victim-centered approach within the Youth Offending Service and partners.
• Ensure adherence to the Victim Code of Practice and provide unbiased information to victims.
• Conduct assessments of victims' needs and prepare reports on impact and outcomes.
• Facilitate restorative interventions such as mediation and restorative conferences.
• Engage young people in restorative processes and explain impact on victims and communities.
