Job summary

Tranquille Care Ltd is recruiting a Restorative Justice and Victim Support Officer for Greenwich Youth Offending Service to lead victim engagement, promote restorative justice and strengthen partnership working across youth justice services.

You will contact victims, coordinate with police and partners, facilitate mediation where appropriate, assess needs, contribute to training, maintain records, ensure data protection, and uphold equality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with victims and applying restorative approaches.
• Ability to lead restorative justice interventions and coordinate with police and partner agencies.
• A track record of accurate assessments, reports and case records.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated victim support and timely updates to victims of youth crime.
• Lead restorative justice interventions, mediation and conferences when appropriate.
• Coordinate multi-agency work with Youth Offending Service, police and families.
• Prepare written assessments reflecting victims' views and needs.
• Support colleagues and contribute to staff training.
• Maintain records, ensure data protection, and follow legislation.
