Job summary

Tai Pawb is seeking a part-time Scheme Support Officer to work in our Young Persons accommodation service in Moriston, Swansea. You will operate on a rolling rota with day shifts from 7:30 to 22:30, supporting young people aged 16-24 as they move towards independence.

You will provide emotional and practical support, help resolve issues, and contribute to a calm, stable living environment. A proactive, people‑centred approach is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Address complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health issues, substance misuse, and offending behaviour.
• Work with a wide range of personalities and behaviours, including individuals who may be resistant to support.
• Adapt your approach to effectively engage with a diverse clientele.
• Undertake lone working, requiring strong communication skills, resilience, and confidence to work on your own initiative.
