Job summary

Caring for Communities and People (CCP) is a charity offering 24/7 housing and support for young people aged 16-18 in Bournemouth. As a Bank/Casual Support Worker you’ll join a tight-knit team, delivering trauma-informed practical and emotional support on a rota basis.

The role emphasises helping individuals move toward independence with empathetic supervision, training, and strong safeguarding practices in a purpose-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a support worker or related life experience may be considered.
• Ability to work in a charitable environment focused on wellbeing and outcomes.
• Willingness to learn, reflect and adapt in a trauma-informed setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to individuals to improve independence.
• Build strong relationships with people supported and the team.
• Support with managing daily living activities, budgeting, shopping, and cooking.
