Job summary

Walsall Council is recruiting a House Project Facilitator to work with care-experienced young people aged 16 and over. You will support their journey to independence, develop life skills and help sustain tenancies, building trust and providing practical guidance.

The role combines one-to-one support, group work, project development and engagement activities, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing for vulnerable young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with care-experienced or vulnerable young people.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver group activities or training sessions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating group work with care-experienced young people.
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with young people.
• Provide guidance on housing, budgeting, education, employment and wellbeing.
• Support moves into independent living and tenancy sustainment.
