Community Care Live is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a portfolio of high-profile transformation projects across Family Help, youth services and care leavers in Nottingham. The postholder will turn strategic priorities into deliverable plans, coordinating council services, partners, providers, communities, young people and families to achieve sustainable change.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of managing complex transformation programmes in Local Authority / Children Services.
• Experience across organisational boundaries and influencing senior stakeholders, partners and providers.
• Experience of project governance, risk management, financial monitoring, performance reporting and benefits realisation.
• Experience of co-production or meaningful engagement with children, young people, families or communities.
• Project or programme qualification – MSP / Prince2 or APMG

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, benefits and success measures.
• Lead projects through discovery, options development, business case approval, implementation, mobilisation and review.
• Establish governance arrangements and provide reporting to programme boards and partners.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and interdependencies with practical solutions.
• Coordinate input from Family Help, youth services, children’s social care, commissioning, property, finance, HR, digital and data.
• Build relationships with schools, health, police, voluntary groups and providers.
• Ensure involvement of children, young people, families and care leavers in service design and delivery.
• Support commissioning, procurement and contract mobilisation; manage resources and expenditure.
• Develop outcome frameworks and assess impact for continuous improvement.
