Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is hiring a Youth, Family and Community Learning Officer to lead planning and development of learning programmes for young people, families and communities across multiple settings. You will guide staff and volunteers, monitor impact and work with partners to improve outcomes.

The role involves developing inclusive services, coordinating projects, and reporting on progress to inform future service design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and development of programmes to help individuals develop confidence, skills, resilience and aspirations.
• Lead delivery of high-quality learning and community engagement activities across local communities, schools and partner organisations.
• Monitor, evaluate and report project outcomes with robust evidence to inform service planning and continuous improvement.
• Build and sustain effective partnerships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to enable accessible and inclusive services.
