Job summary

Burnley FC in the Community is seeking a Youth Engagement Officer to plan, deliver and develop inclusive youth programmes across Burnley, Pendle and East Lancashire. You will work with the Youth Engagement Manager to shape activities that respond to local needs, build confidence and wellbeing, and support positive outcomes for young people.

The role requires a Level 1/2 Youth Work and Level 2 Multi-Sports qualification, plus experience with engaging diverse groups.

Qualifications

Level 1 or 2 Youth Work qualification (or equivalent).
Level 2 Multi-Sports qualification(s) (or equivalent).
Experience coaching, mentoring, or working with children and young people.
Experience with SEND and challenging behaviour is desirable.
Ability to deliver activities in sport, education or community settings.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, inclusive youth engagement sessions across communities.
Lead key programmes such as Premier League Kicks, Limitless Clarets, Youth Board.
Plan and facilitate workshops addressing local issues affecting young people.
Develop social action projects empowering young people to contribute to communities.
Monitor delivery against targets and collect impact data.
