Job summary

Plymouth City Council is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the performance, compliance and quality management of the Youth Employment Programme. You will oversee contracts and partnerships, ensuring services deliver positive outcomes and value for money for young people aged 16 to 24.

You'll build strong relationships with providers, employers and stakeholders, monitor outcomes and financial performance, and produce reports for senior leaders.

Qualifications

Experience of contract, programme or performance management.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
Experience of monitoring delivery against targets and outcomes.
An understanding of employment, skills, education or public sector programmes.

Responsibilities

Manage the performance and compliance of Youth Employment Programme contracts.
Monitor outcomes, quality standards and financial performance.
Build strong relationships with providers, employers and stakeholders.
Analyse performance data and produce reports for senior leaders and funders.
Identify risks and drive continuous improvement across the programme.
Support the development of employment and skills opportunities for young people across the city.
