Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council's Youth Work Service is recruiting a Youth Development or Community Worker to lead delivery of youth work in the Wigtownshire area. The role involves developing services for young people aged 12+, working with diverse groups, and supporting regional participation networks.

You will manage a team of part-time Youth Workers and volunteers, require a degree in Youth Work or CLD (or 3 years' experience) and be prepared for occasional evening/weekend work.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with young people (12+).
• Ability to lead delivery of youth work in a defined area.
• Experience managing part-time staff and volunteers.
